Our Statement of Faith

Crosspoint Church is a member of CCI (Christian Churches Ireland,) we are an Assemblies of God Church who belong to the larger worldwide Pentecostal Family. We adhere to the Christian Doctrines of Faith set out in the Bible .

1 Statement 1

The Bible is the inspired word of God and is the infallible all sufficent rule of faith and practice.

2 Statement 2

 The one and only true and living God eternally existent in three persons in unity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3 Statement 3

The Virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection Second Coming and eternal kingdom reign of Jesus Christ as King of glory.

4 Statement 4

The fall of man who was created pure and upright but fell through voluntary transgression.

5 Statement 5

 The Salvation of man through repentance and regeneration by grace and through faith, and the eternal separation from God of the unrepentant. Justification and sanctification of the believer through the finished work of Christ.

6 Statement 6

 The sacraments of baptism by immersion and of the Lord’s supper.

7 Statement 7

 The baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

8 Statement 8

The gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification, exhortation and comfort of the Church which is the Body of Christ. Church government, ministry and administration by apostles, prophets, evangelists,pastors, teachers and divine healing.

9 Statement 9

The Holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God, Be you holy for I am holy.

10 Statement 10

The Family and union of marriage between one man and one woman.

11 Statement 11

The bodily resurrection of all mankind the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all those whose names are not written in the lamb's book of life.

12 Statement 12

The privilege and responsibility of all believers in bringing tithes and offerings to the Lord.
